My professional experience includes over 30 years in the hospitality industry, ranging from working in restaurants, to extensive experience in managing events, owning my own business and daily operations in a higher education setting.
I began my work at the University of Michigan in 2008 as Facilities Coordinator at Palmer Commons. In 2014, I became General Manager, overseeing all aspects of Palmer Commons facility. Prior to coming to UM, I worked in several areas at Drexel University, as Project Manager, Assistant Director of Student Unions and Events Manager at Drexel College of Medicine. My love of working with students and seeing their growth while working at Palmer is what is most rewarding about my job. When I’m not at UM, I enjoy time with my two dogs, attending arts and cultural events and whitewater rafting.
